PURPOSE: A rotation sensor of a tower crane is provided to economically control the rotation of the tower crane without using an expensive switch by detecting and controlling the rotation position of the crane with a JK flipflop. CONSTITUTION: When a pulse is zero, an LLLL signal is detected in each output unit when the pulse is 3, an HHLL signal is detected in the output units. When the pulse is 8, the pulse is detected as LLLH in the output units, and when the pulse is 12, the pulse is detected as LHHL. Further, when the pulse is 15, the pulse is detected as HHLL. Therefore, when the pulse is 0,3,8,12,15, it is time to block the left rotation of each crane, the left rotation at a high speed, the right rotation at a high speed and the right rotation. Herein, when a direction signal is high, the right rotation is set up while when low, the left rotation is set up. Accordingly, the rotation and stop of the crane are determined by reading the rotation position of the crane with the pulse signal generated in a circuit according to the pulse generated around the switch attached to a ring type gear of the tower crane.
