摘要 PURPOSE: A process for producing a copolymerized polyetherglycol containing polyoxytetramethylene glycol or an oxytetramethylene group is provided which gives an economic preparing process by simplifying a purification process and improved catalysts to obtain the title compound in appropriate yield. CONSTITUTION: A copolymerized polyetherglycol containing a polyoxytetramethylene glycol an oxytetramethylene group is prepared by polymerizing tetrahydrofuran(hereinafter referred to collectively as "THF ) using a heterogeneous catalysis having a heteropolyacid supported on a specified carrier and a metal oxide or a reduction-type metal in an amount of 0.1 to 20% by weight added thereto, or copolymerizing other ring-type ether polymerizable with the THF and THF mixtures, wherein the THF is polymerized in the presence of telogen using a catalyst added a metal oxide or a reduced metal-type co catalyst in an amount of 0.1 to 20 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of a carried catalyst having 5 to 50% by weight of a heteropolyacid carried on a supporter and sintered at a temperature of 150 to 900°C. The process can manufacture a polyoxytetramethylene glycol having a terminal group of -OH and has a polymerization yield of 40 to 60% by weight.
