PURPOSE: A cathode active material for a lithium secondary cell is provided which has an increased employment of boron by enabling the uniform dispersion of boron in a carbon material. CONSTITUTION: A cathode active material for a lithium secondary cell is fabricated by: fabricating a mixed solution including pitch, boron compound and solvent; fabricating mezzo face pitch after removing the solvent from the mixed solution; and then graphitizing after carbonizing the mezzo face pitch. A fuel cell adopting the active material has good initial discharge capacitance and charge/discharge efficiency. |
