PURPOSE: An automatic image control method of television is provided to vary image control data in response to the characteristics of a light source and apply the varied data to image control process, thereby effectively control the image. CONSTITUTION: An automatic image control method of television comprises first to third steps of: determining whether or not the output of a light sensor is agreed with that corresponding to standard value of previously set image control data; determining whether the output of the light sensor is less than predetermined level if the output isn't agreed with; and resetting the predetermined image control data to be proportional to the characteristics of light source if the output isn't less than the predetermined level. |
