PURPOSE: A method for preventing the error operation of a compact disk(CD) player is provided to prevent a CD driving circuit from being reset due to the impulse of a cathode generated from a vehicle, thereby stably operating the CD player regardless of introduction of a power noise. CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing the error operation of a compact disk(CD) player comprises the steps of: receiving a detected voltage; determining whether the detected voltage is smaller than a minimum value of a set normal voltage; when the detected voltage is smaller than the minimum value, turning an inner timer on; counting time depending on the operation of the inner timer; determining whether the counted time exceeds a set time; when the counted time exceeds the set time, resetting a CD driver; and when the detected voltage is not smaller than the minimum value, turning off the inner timer and returning to the receiving step of the detected voltage.
