PURPOSE: A device for controlling angular degrees of a speaker and volume is provided to automatically control the direction of sound wave output from a speaker according to the position of a user and to control volume. CONSTITUTION: If the position of a remote controller is deflected to left from the central of a television system, distance difference is occurred from a left sensor(453), a right sensor(454), an upper sensor(451) and a lower sensor(452) of a supersonic sensing part(450), thus the time for approaching to the respective sensor becomes different. The differentiated supersonic signal is fed to a microcomputer(500), and sampling clocks of the sensors are counted by a counter(550). The supersonic sensing signals of the sensors are counted by considering the difference of the number of clocks as much as the time for approaching. The microcomputer reads the table data of the number of clocks, angular degrees and volume stored in an inner RAM and feed volume control signals and speaker driving control signals to output the output of a second speaker(400) to be louder about 5dB than the output of a first speaker(350) and to adjust the rotation angular degrees of left side of the second speaker to be 20 degrees, of upper side to be 15 degrees, of left side of the first speaker to be 5 degrees and of upper side to be 10 degrees. A sound processor(300) fed with the volume control signal makes the output level of the right speaker(the second speaker) to be higher than the output of the left speaker(the first speaker). Thereby a user listens to optimal sound.
