DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING SIDE MIRROR DURING TRAVEL

PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to release the fixer of a side mirror at 300m before an intersection for removing a dead angle zone generated whenever right-turn and left-turn, and to keep the side mirror in an advancing direction along the rotation angle of a gyro-sensor as soon as the vehicle advances into the intersection. CONSTITUTION: A CPU feeds a signal to a mirror controller(60) at 300m before an intersection in order to release the fixer of a side mirror(70). The CPU decides if a vehicle advances into the intersection and if so, a gyro-sensor(20) senses the rotation angle of the vehicle and feeds the signal to the mirror controller. The mirror controller regularly changes the direction of the side mirror along the rotation angle and then the CPU decides if the vehicle passes through the intersection. If so, a navigation system receives the passing signal and returns the side mirror back.
