PURPOSE: An LCD uses an alignment layer by mixing one more liquid crystal polymers with different pitches and chemical properties in a micro multi-domain. CONSTITUTION: An ITO electrode(20) is formed on a substrate(10) and a liquid crystal polymer(LCP) alignment layer(30) is formed on the ITO electrode(20). The LCP alignment layer(30) forms the various surface structure by mixing one more LCPs with the respective different pitches. A mesogen radical and a spacer are included in the main chain type and side chain type LCPs in the LCP. The position of the mesogen radical is varied according to the pitch of the LCP. Therefore, the stability of liquid crystal is secured by using the alignment layer(30) of LCP in multi-domain, and the rubbing process is omitted.
