PURPOSE: An electron gun for color cathode ray tube is provided to make a brightness of screen uniformly, improve resolution of screen image greatly and prevent moire phenomenon by forming uniformly an electron beam spot to be landing to whole fluorescent film. CONSTITUTION: A fronting triode part is composed of cathode(11), control electrode(12), screen electrode(13), a subsidiary electron lens is composed of the first(14), second(15), third(16), fourth(17), fifth(18) focus electrode, and final acceleration electrode(19) is installed adjacent to the fifth focus electrode(18) and composes of main lens. Static voltage(VS) is licensed at the second focus electrode(15), focus voltage(VF) higher than above static voltage(VG) is licensed at the first, fourth focus electrode(14)(17), dynamic focus voltage(VD), which is alternated synchronizing to deflection signal, is licensed at the third, fifth focus electrode(16)(18).
