PURPOSE: A door opening amount controlling device is provided to prevent a scratch of cars when a user opens a door in a narrow space and to increase productivity of the car by controlling an opening level of the door in multi-stage. CONSTITUTION: A door opening amount controlling device includes a guide member fixed within a door in a direction of thickness of the door and having a plurality of holes, a rod member(54) having an end fixed on a car body and the other end extending toward the inside of the door, an air cylinder(64) fixed to the other end of the rod member, an operation unit movable between a use position matching with the holes of the guide member in order and non-use position not matching with the holes according to fluid supply to the air cylinder and fluid discharge from the air cylinder, and a control unit for controlling the operation of the air cylinder.
