<p>The bolt lever (4) has a handle (5) and in the lock position is protectively accommodated together with the handle completely between two housing-side two vertical side walls (8) extending in the ski longitudinal direction. The bolt lever carries a marking (11), which works in conjunction with a housing-side counter marking for indication of a thrust lift occurring when a ski boot is placed in the binding. Where a thrust lift occurs, the housing (3) moves against the force of the thrust springing effect relatively to the locked lever. The counter markings are formed on the side walls.
