<p>Glass threads consisting of endless fibers coated with a non-aqueous preparative agent in liquid state and capable to react by the action of actinic radiation, are cut by a mechanism serving simultaneously for their drawing before their exposure to the action of the actinic radiation. The apparatus comprises at least one cutting and drawing device (100) of threads being provided with preparative agent, a first receiving mechanism (7) of cut threads and a second receiving mechanism (8) of cut threads, where the cut threads fall between individual mechanisms due to their own weight, further a source (4) of actinic radiation oriented for example toward the region of fall of the cut threads from the cutting and drawing mechanism (100) onto the receiving mechanisms (3, 7). Another source (5) of the actinic radiation is oriented toward irradiation zone of the first receiving mechanism (7) and is associated with a blowing mechanism (11) situated below said zone.</p> |
