The present invention relates to a fastening arrangement of a body, particularly a wiring box (3), in a substrate (1) opening (3) wherein the arrangement has a fixing insert (4) forming a part of the wiring box (3). The fixing insert (4) has a frame (5) that is provided with arresting elements (6) protruding into a gap extending between the wiring box (3) and a wall of the opening (2) in the substrate (1). In the area of the outer end face, said frame (5) is provided with an enlargement (7) bearing against the substrate (1). The arresting elements (6) located on the sides adjacent to the opening (2) wall, are provided with fixing projections (8, 9). At least at spots where the arresting elements (6) are formed, the frame (5) bears against the opening (2) wall. The arresting elements (6) are provided at their free ends with elastic tongues (12), which fit behind rear surface of the substrate (1), whereby edges (13) formed between the arresting elements (6) and said elastic tongues (12) protrude into a recess (14) of the wiring box (3). An enlargement (15) situated on the wiring box (3) front surface bears against said frame (5) enlargement (7) front surface.
