Communication set-up procedure between two devices connected to an Internet type computer network

Two calling (1) and called (2) information transmission devices have direct call addresses to access signal channels between the devices and are able to access a computer network (3) by respective computer addresses, one having called the other via a signalling channel by transferring its computer address to it. It is then called in turn by the other device via the computer network at the computer address it transferred.
