In the present invention there are disclosed 1,5-benzodiazepine derivatives of the general formula I, in which the individual symbols are as specified in the main Claim. These substances exhibit agonistic activity on CCK-A receptors and they can be therefore used for preparing pharmaceutical preparations, which also form the part of the present invention and which are intended for modulation of gastrin and CCK cholecystokinin in mammals, i.e. for inducing anorectic effect and treating obesity. In the present invention, there are also claimed processes for preparing said derivatives.
