In the present invention there is disclosed an inhalator for administering powder medicaments from blister strips (5) consisting of a container film (33) with a row of individual convex blister cavities (31) whose curvature has the form of a spherical cap and containing a powder medicament, further of a cover foil (39) enclosing the blister cavities (31), whereby the inhalator is formed by a case of elongated form with at least two parts from a set comprising the case upper part (2), the case bottom part (3) a pull-out lever (9) a central part (13), case lower part (14 and a safety valve (23) being rotatably coupled with each other by means of a coupling or hinges being represented by a first hinge (16) a second hinge (17) and a suspension (24), whereby one part of the case has a square inward directing rectangular recess (30) serving as a support (29) for the blister strip (5). The case is provided at its one narrowed end with a mouthpiece (1), an inlet hole (32) situated on the opposite narrowed side and between them there is an opening (7) for direct introduction of the medicament from blister cavities (31) of the blister strip (5) put on the supports (29) in such a manner that the cover foil (39) of the inserted blister strip (5) fits close to the opening (7) and the case has means for emptying said blister strip (5) individual blister cavities (31), whereby pull-out means for emptying the individual blister cavities (31), have at least one pull-out plunger (10) with convex formed surface (37) of the plunger (10) that corresponds to the form of the convex blister cavities (31), whereby edge of the convex curved surface (37) of at least one pull-out plunger (10) is located transversely asymmetric with respect to the case axis with corresponding convex surface of the blister cavity (31). |
