PURPOSE: A slip preventive device of air brake and the method thereof are provided to prevent a vehicle from being pushed backward when a vehicle restarts in a slope by detecting a slope restart. CONSTITUTION: An ECU(10) receives the signals of a grade sensor(14), a clutch switch(12), a speed sensor(13), a parking brake switch(15), and a brake switch. A control valve(25) and a quick release valve(30) are controlled by the ECU and drain gradually the compressed air for braking a vehicle as the signals from the ECU. A lamp(40) alarms the dangerous condition of the vehicle during the slide preventive time.
