Test probe actuator

The tester has a test probe (1) including an actuator with a fixed iron core and a movable coil (20). The coil is connected to a probe component (27) such that the coil along with the component is moved when the actuator actuates the component in a vertical direction. The component moving in the vertical direction contacts a contact point of a printed circuit board independent of a device for adjusting a vertical position of the probe. An INDPEDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for testing of printed circuit boards with a finger tester.
