The shelter has at least two bases for posts (10) supporting a frame with a cover (80), the frame being made from rectangular-section extrusions with long (42, 43) and short (40, 41) sides. Each long side has a channel (46, 47) and a groove (48, 49), and the lower short side (41) also has a channel (50). The upper end of each post has a pivoted connecting piece (21) shaped to engage with the lower side channel (50) and fastened to an L-section bracket (29) with holes (30) for bolts (31) which have nuts (32) set in a side channel (47). The cover consists of a plastic sheet with edge beads (82) fitting into grooves (49) in the extrusions.
