Process and apparatus for feeding in two steps process-air to a fuel cell

Fuel cell process air is charged in two stages. In one stage, it is charged by a compressor (ML) and in the other stage, by a combined expansion and compression machine (ATL), preferably an exhaust turbocharger. Hence the gas expansion is used for the compression of charge air.
