PURPOSE: An attachment/detachment apparatus for electric dust collector for air conditioner is provided to allow the attachment/detachment to be easily performed while achieving an improved work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An attachment/detachment apparatus comprises a pair of fixed rails(61) fixed at both inner walls of a housing(21) in such a manner as to range from the front end to the rear end of the inner wall; a moving rail(71) engaged with the fixed rail, and which slides along the fixed rail so as to be extracted from the front surface of the housing or contracted into the fixed rail, and has an electric dust collector(41) mounted onto the moving rail; and engaging units arranged at the fixed rail and moving rail, respectively, so as to allow the moving rail to be tightly engaged with the fixed rail. The engaging unit includes a protruded stopper formed at the moving rail, and a groove formed at the fixed rail.
