PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the vibration of an impulse extending element and precisely supply a desired fuel by performing a current-carrying control so as to extend and contract the impulse extending element at least once every combustion cycle, and reading the voltage waveform signal to be added to the impulse extending element to add a negative feedback. SOLUTION: When a driving voltage is applied to an impulse extending element 17 in the state where fuel is filled in a pressurization chamber 50, an impulse extending element body 17a is changed in shape to generate a high pressure wave in the pressurization chamber 50. An injection valve 25 is opened by this impulse high-pressure wave to inject a high-pressure fuel through an injection port 41. In this case, the current carrying is controlled so as to change the impulse extending element 17 from the extended state to the contracted state at least once every combustion cycle and then to change it from the contracted state to the extended state. The voltage waveform signal added to the impulse extending element 17 is read to add a negative feedback. According to this, the vibration of the impulse extending element 17 is suppressed, and the pressure fluctuation of the fuel is suppressed so that the fuel can be precisely supplied. |
