PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fall of a gate in the case where malfunction of a fall prevention machine generates and the gate is raised exceeding a prescribed open position. SOLUTION: In a parking facility provided with a gate to be opened/closed by lifting/lowering at an entrance and leaving opening, a fall prevention machine 16 provided with a gate open-position detector for detecting that the gate 7 has been raised up to a prescribed open position, and a fall prevention pin 19 extended from a retreat position to a fall prevention position on the basis of a gate opening signal from the gate open position detector is provided. A stopper 21 engageable with a fall prevention pin 19 when the fall prevention pin 19 is extended at the fall prevention position is provided on the side of the gate, avoided to a passing allowance position during ascending of the gate 7. When the gate 7 exceeds the prescribed open position to ascend, a fall prevention lever 25 for avoiding to the gate fall prevention position by the urging force of a spring 27 is pivoted on the frame side of the parking facility.
