PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baffle structure of an engine in which the cooled air from a cooling fan effectively flows to the outer wall of a cylinder or an ignition device. SOLUTION: This baffle structure of an engine to cool a cylinder is provided with a cooling fan 6, which is connected to the output shaft of the engine, and a baffle plate 8, which is arranged in the vicinity of the outer wall of a cylinder 2 so as to make the cooled air from the cooling fan 6 flow along the outer wall of the cylinder 2. The baffle structure is also provided with an ignition device 7, which is arranged in the vicinity of the outer wall of the cylinder 2 and forms a baffle guiding section so that the cooled air from the cooling fan 6 flows along the outer wall of the cylinder 2.
