PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make installing position and structure common even if the size of machine differs by selectively switching the relation of pilot hydraulic oil switched between a pilot valve to supply or discharge pilot hydraulic oil and a switching valve to be switched by the pilot hydraulic oil. SOLUTION: A controller for a hydraulic shovel 2 comprises a plurality of pilot valves 14 for supplying pilot hydraulic oil, a plurality of switching valves 18 and a selector valve 20. The valve 14 is provided in a cabin seat 9 of a cabin 8, and the switching valve 18 connected to each pilot valve 14 via a pilot line 16 and switched by pilot hydraulic oil is provided in an engine room 10. The selector valve 20 provided on the way of the line 16 so as to selectively switch the connection relation between the valve 14 and the switching valve 18 is provided under a floor 8a of the cabin 8. The purpose is attained in this way.
