PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterway for flowing clear water for many years by securing a designed flow rate in a small waterway. SOLUTION: A waterway R is a jointly using type of an ordinary passage R2 and a purifying passage R1. Water is normally purified by the passage R1, and when water quantity increases, a flow rate is secured by overflowing to the passage R2. In a purifying layer 10 composed of cobble stones (a) or the like, a plate 5 is laid on the under surface, a cleaning pipe 8 is arranged in the recessed part (a groove) 7, and a purifying body such as the cobble stones (a) is filled in the upper surface. A capturing thing is smoothly transferred to the downstream side including cleaning time by the recessed part 7 to be captured in a precipitator P. Then, a smooth transfer of the capturing thing prevents the degradation of a purifying function, and also enhances a cleaning effect. The capaturing thing of the precipitator P may be scooped up by a shovel, but is housed in a net bag, and the bag is hung up by a crane to perform a removal also serving as dewatering. The bag is formed by superposing plural sheets different in meshes, and these are hung up in order to perform the selective recovery different in size.
