PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a die of high safety, which surely prevents running out of a molten metal, by installing flash prevention grooves on parting faces of the die in a way to surround a cavity from four directions. SOLUTION: In order to receive a molten metal overflowing from a cavity 6, air vent passages 16a-16c are extended towards the outside from overflowing parts 15a-15c installed on a parting face 14. Outside the air vent passage 16a-16c, flash preventive grooves 18a-18d, composed of long, narrow grooves, are formed on the parting faces in a manner to surround all directions, and are linked with the air vent passages 16a-16c. Since the flash preventive grooves 18a-18d surround the cavity 6 and the overflow parts 15a-15c form all directions, even if a molten metal is overflown in any direction, it is prevented from overflowing to the outside of the die by being received by either one of the flash preventive grooves 18a-18d. Capacity of any flash preventive grooves 18a-18d is set larger than cubage of a biscuit part 19.
