PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact failure of a switch part which electrically connects a rod part that can be put on and taken off and a cleaner body of a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: A slidable operating rod 13 is provided in a rod part 9 which is mounted on a cleaner body of a vacuum cleaner 1 so as to be put on and taken off freely. The operating rod 13 is slid in an axial direction following an operating body 11 which is provided at a second grip part 10 of the rod part 9, and the cleaner body of the vacuum cleaner 1 is driven by pushing a second switch 8 which is provided at a receiving part 7. The cleaner body of the vacuum cleaner 1 is stopped by depressing the second switch 8 to be opened for separation of the operating rod 13 from the second switch 8.
