The present invention relates to a system and a method, respectively, for transfer of medical films, particularly X-ray films, or parts thereof, for diagnostics to digital, electronic form. The system comprises a digital camera attached to a positioning system or the like and a screen, which camera is connected partly to the digital camera, partly to a digital, electronic image archive, wherein the system is arranged for selective examination on the screen or in the finder of the camera of medical films in order to find pathologically interesting parts, selective magnification of medical films, or parts thereof, with found pathologically interesting parts, selective exposure of medical films, or parts thereof, and transfer of obtained digital, electronic, medical images, or parts thereof, to and storing them in the digital, electronic image archive. |
