PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust in flue gas at a high temperature and simultaneously treat harmful gas by constituting a filter by forming a chromite layer containing at least one kind of molybdenum, antimony, zinc, and barium on a surface of an inorganic fiber. SOLUTION: For this filter, a chromite (chromate) layer of about 0.2 μ or over is formed in a uniform film state on all surface of a raw material filter cloth, in details an inorganic fiber, and fusion weld of fibers to each other is completely prevented. This film (chromite layer) has a resistant property that it is absolutely not bonded to a melted ash content in dust having come flying in a flue gas, and is equipped with heat resistance. Further, the heat resistant chromite layer, when oxides of molybdenum, antimony, zinc, barium or the like are contained, has a property that a lubricating property of fibers with each other is very effectively raised. Then, an effect that folding resistance of the filter cloth is remarkably raised is developed. Thereby, flue gas at a high temperature (500 deg.C or higher) can be directly treated. |
