PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain discharge of a contaminant to atmospheric air and soil by a method wherein a ceramic filter supporting a combustion catalyst is provided in an exhaust gas flue of an outlet of a waste incinerator or the like, dust is collected within a high temperature range at a specific temperature or higher, and an organic compound and an organic chlorine compound are completely decomposed. SOLUTION: When city refuse is incinerated in an incinerator 1, chlorobenzene, polychlorinated-dibenzo-p-dioxins(PCDDs) or the like as a precursor are generated. A ceramic filter 3 is installed in an uppermost flow part of a flue 2 of such the incinerator 1. Then, when gas constituents in a high temperature burnt exhaust gas at 500 deg.C or higher including unburned combustibles, dioxins, and soot and dust, are exhausted from a gas outlet via a filter pipe, the unburned combustibles are decomposed by combustion, and converted to CO2 and H2O. The exhaust gas which has become clean by passing the ceramic filter 3 thus, after generating superheated steam of high temperature and high pressure by heating a superheater 4 of the boiler 5, is exhausted via the boiler 5, a denitration apparatus 6, an economizer 7, and an exhaust gas treating apparatus 8. |
