PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crosstalk by projecting out a filler material from the arrayal surface of a piezoelectric element in an ultrasonic wave probe which is formed by means of embedding the filler material between the plurality of piezoelectric elements. SOLUTION: An adhesive tape being a height control board is adhered to the whole surface of a piezoelectric board at first and, then, the piezoelectric board is cut with the upper adhesive tape to obtain the plurality of piezoelectric elements 1. The filler 4 is embedded between each adhesive tape and each piezoelectric element 1. Then the tape is torn off, the filler 4 is projected out from the front surface of each element 1, a glass resin to be the first layer 5a of an acoustic matching layer 5 is coated on the whole surface of each element 1 including the filler 4, hardened and, then, formed to be λ/4 coating. The resin to be the second layer 5b is formed by coating in the same way. By the configuration, the filler 4 is projected out on the arrayal surface of each element 1 by the adhesive tape being the height control. |
