PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variety for a field map and the ability of an enemy character which appears in the field map. SOLUTION: A game device displays a world map (step S303), and any given location in the displayed world map is determined according to operational information from the outside (step S304). Topographic data previously set for the determined location in the world map is acquired, and a field map is corresponded to the determined location in the world map (step S305). The data on a character corresponded to the world map corresponded to the location in the world map is acquired (step S306). The acquired data on the acquired character is corrected on the basis of a predetermined range of the acquired topographic data (step S307).
