PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for removing an image formed on a recording material by ink jet recording method, or the like, efficiently through a simple arrangement when it becomes useless. SOLUTION: A recording material 10 having an image 13 formed thereon is arranged to be passed between an image forming material removing roller 11 provided with a spiral protrusion and a press roller 12 by means of a pair of guide plates 15a, 15b and a pair of rollers 14a, 14b for carrying the recording material. A shearing force is applied to the image 13 formed on the recording material 10 by turning the roller 11 provided with a spiral protrusion and the image 13 formed on the recording material 10 is removed thus regenerating the recording material 10. |
