SEMIFLEXIBLE PAVEMENT EXCELLENT IN ACID RESISTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiflexible pavement improved in both acid resistance and surface strength. SOLUTION: An acid-resistant cement milk obtained by compounding one or more kinds of a slag-based cement, a reactive silica compounded cement or a calcined coke compounded cement is used as a cement milk or the acid- resistant cement milk prepared by compounding a polymeric emulsion is used as the cement milk in a semiflexible pavement obtained by paving a high void ratio open-graded asphalt and then permeating the cement milk into the voids thereof. In the semiflexible pavement excellent in acid resistance, a netlike reinforcing material having >=200 deg.C heat resistance is arranged in the surface layer or in the vicinity of the surface layer.
