DECORATIVE COLUMN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative column which is in a section larger than the main body of the column and appropriately usable as an independent column with its exterior decorated. SOLUTION: An additional member 3 is attached in the diagonal direction to a column main body 2 made up of a square steel pipe. Attachment metal fittings 31 each having an elastic piece for elastically holding a protuberant part at the reverse side of a decorative material and an engaging piece to be engaged with a groove at the reverse side of the decorative material are attached respectively to the two column surfaces of the additional member 3 positioned at the far side of the column main body and column surfaces d21 and d22 of the column main body 2 positioned at the opposite side of the additional member 3, and two L-shaped separate covers are attached thereto.
