PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a breakage accident of a wire by exciting a wire drum in the pulling direction of the wire, and setting this exciting force smaller than the wire pulling force of the closer of a sliding door. SOLUTION: A torsion coil spring 17 is wound on a spindle 15 rotatably journalling a wire drum 9. The elastic force of the torsion coil spring 17 urges the wire drum 9 ccw. A wire shaft 19 is fitted to the prescribed angle position of a pair of flanges 12 formed on the outer periphery of the wire drum 9 to connect them. The wire shaft 19 is relatively rotatably coupled with an annular terminal 21 fitted to the lead end of a wire 1. When the wire 1 sags, the wire drum 9 is rotated ccw, and the lead end of the wire 1 is wound to remove the sag. The terminal 21 is relatively rotated as the wire shaft 19 is displaced, and the bending moment applied to the wire 1 is automatically resolved.
