PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat side table for an automobile allowing attachment of a table main body for placing-on of an article to a front seat side part, and having a stably retractable tray for placing-on of various articles for a rear side. SOLUTION: In this seat side table, a table main body T is assembled from an upper cover 1 and an under frame 3, while an inner frame 4 is slidably guided and held by the under frame 3 inside the table main body T. A slide guide mechanism of the inner frame 4 is assembled by providing a stopper 8 having substantially U-shaped spring arms 81a, 81b, and pulling-out/in positioning protrusion 35a, 35b, 36a, 36b for engaging with projection end sides of substantially U-shaped spring arms 81a, 81b, a tray 2 (i.e., an article placing-on part) is attached onto the inner frame 4.
