PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal forging press and horizontal forging press equipment, in which the structure of a roller table device can be simplified and the miniaturization of the press body is obtd. and the equipment cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with one pair of dies 24 oppositely disposed in the rectangularly horizontal direction to a pressing material 22 laid and conveyed on the roller table device 23 and shifted in the horizontal direction and pressing the side surfaces of the pressing material, one pair of press bodies 25 positioned at both sides of the pressing material and holding the dies so as to be freely approachable and separatable to and from the side surfaces of the pressing material and three pieces of columns 26, 27 fastening the one pair of press bodies holding the dies with a prescribed interval between them and forming them into one body.
