PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject machine facilitating the handling of seedling boxes after recovered by a seedling box recovering truck, tractable by a self-propelled truck, and ensured to be adaptable to the diversification and generalization of the post-treatment of recovered seedling boxes through suppressing the cost of recovering them. SOLUTION: This seedling box recovering machine is such one that a mobile vehicle 2 is furnished with a seedling box recovering truck A mounted with a backwardly conveying mechanism 3 disposed in a rising fashion toward the rear with the front end substantially in contact with the ground and a box picking up mechanism 4 for lifting a plurality of seedling boxes N spread transversely on the ground in front of the backwardly conveying mechanism 3 and loading them on the mechanism 3 and a mobile post-treatment truck B detachably linked to the rear side of the seedling box recovering truck A and to be loaded, in a substantially horizontal posture, with seedling boxes N conveyed from the mechanism 3; wherein the seedling box recovering truck A and/or the post-treatment truck B is (are) linked via a tractable connective means 7 to a self-propelled truck C.
