PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramic composition capable of providing an intermediate molded product scarcely causing tearing by a gel casting molding. SOLUTION: This ceramic composition is a composition for polymerizing a monomer for molding in a forming mold and thereby providing an intermediate product and contains a ceramic powder, the monomer for molding and water. The monomer for molding comprises a monofunctional monomer and a polyfunctional monomer. The polyfunctional monomer is composed of a water- insoluble polyfunctional monomer having 0.9-1.1 specific gravity and <=220 molecular weight. The content of the monomer for molding to the ceramic powder is preferably 2-9 wt.% and the molar ratio of the monofunctional monomer to the polyfunctional monomer in the monomer for molding is preferably within the range of (95:5) to (99:1). |
