PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover palladium from an aq. palladium-contg. soln. at the time of oxidizing the aq. soln., bringing the oxidized soln. into contact with the deposited anthrahydroquinone compds. to recover palladium by judging the end point of oxidation from a change in the measured oxidation-reduction potential. SOLUTION: An aq. palladium-contg. soln. is supplied to an oxidation tank 2 from a feed port 1. The air as an oxidizing agent sucked in from a suction port 3 is pressurized by a compressor 4 and blown into the aq. soln. in the tank 2. Further, an oxidation-reduction electrode arranged in the tank 2 is connected to an oxidation-reduction potentiometer, and a change in the oxidation-reduction potential is fetched as an electric signal. When the oxidation proceeds and a change in the measured oxidation-reduction potential is detected, oxidation is stopped, and an aq. soln. contg. palladium ion is supplied to a column 8 by a pump 10, Consequently, palladium is efficiently trapped and recovered without being affected by a reductive substance.
|
