The invention concerns a device for absorbing shocks and vibrations felt by the rider and the horse thereby preventing the rider from feeling pain in the ankle and knee joints. It releases the horse which practically no longer feels the jolts transmitted by the stirrup leather and runs at its best without any fear or constraint. The invention concerns three devices for reducing shocks and vibrations while providing the rider with perfect control of his horse through the stirrups. The rotational system enables the stirrup to be always well oriented relatively to the rider's foot (thereby avoiding injuries resulting from the stirrup leather strap getting twisted when riding without boots), by its pin pivoting over 360 DEG . The shock-absorbing system dampens the shocks and eliminates the vibrations by means of a compression spring, and enables to maintain by spring effect, the stirrup sole (8) pressed under the rider's foot. The oscillating articulated junction enables the stirrup sole (8) to be constantly in maximum contact with the rider's foot. The invention is particularly designed for all riders of all levels and ages. |
