摘要 Metallic shuttering (plates of various sizes onto which are welded metallic ribs 1 and in which apertures 2 are made, to increase their mechanical strength and their support), are used for constructing the shuttering (skeleton) of a building. With this method the shuttering is joined by using a wooden joist 3 between them and a nail (which passes through the holes in the plate 2 when necessary), to cover one side of the area in which the concrete will be poured. The other side is covered in the same way, taking care that the shuttering on both sides has the holes along the same notional line to allow the positioning of clamps 11 which support them. Shuttering is also positioned at the ends of the two sides like caps 12, vertical joists 13 are positioned to support them, horizontal ones against the surfaces 14 to support the whole structure, and clamps 15 are positioned on the projections to support the lateral sides. On the mould for plates and beams, instead of clamps support columns 24 are used. This method ensures that no wear of the material (metal plating) takes place, in contrast to the wood currently used for building, and also greatly reduces the working time and so too the building costs. Besides, owing to the smooth and stable surface of the metallic shuttering, a uniform result is ensured without the need for any coating. An important aspect of the invention is the use of a manifestly ecological material which contributes towards protecting the environment.
