PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat such as a desk mat or the like for improving its transparency by using an ethylene-methyl methacrylate copolymer as a material. SOLUTION: The mat is formed of a non-oriented sheet of a mixture of at least one or above types of resin components selected from the group consisting of (A) an ethylene-methyl methacrylate copolymer and (B) a petroleum resin, rosin, terpene resin, a cumarone-indene resin and a hydrogen additive of them. The resin of the (A) may be a mixture of 50 wt.% or above of the ethylene-methyl methacrylate copolymer and not more than 50 wt.% of a polyolefin. The component of the (B) is preferably a complete hydrogen-added 9C petroleum resin having a softening point of 100 to 150 deg.C. It is preferable to provide an antitack layer such as an ultraviolet curable resin layer or the like on at least one surface of the mat. Resin fine particles may be blended with the antitack layer.
