PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make removable defective products at a high speed and to make problems such as breakage of bottles, waste of resources, and environmental pollution solvable by subjecting a removing plate to one way movement from one side part of a conveying path to the other side part. SOLUTION: Works in process of bottled products traveling on a conveying path 1 are monitored by a sensor 2 to detect defective products N. When the defective product N reaches a sorting area 1A, a piston member is made to perform one action in the projecting direction or in the suction direction, and a removing plate 17 is subjected to one way movement at a high speed in the direction crossing the conveying path 1 to discharge the defective product N to, for example, the side of a defective product conveying path 12A. The defective product N is softly received by a cushioning member 13A as it is in an erect state and is led in the advancing direction of the defective product conveying path 12A and is sent to a defective product treating process. When a defective product is detected among the following semi-processed goods on the conveying path 1, the removing plate 17 is subjected to one way movement at high speed from the side of the defective product conveying path 12A to the side of a defective product conveying path 12B to discharge the defective product N to the defective product conveying path 12B.
