PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store baggage favorably in view of sanitation in placing the baggage in a restaurant or the like by providing a chair with a seat part and a backrest part, forming a storing part for storing baggage in the interior of the backrest part, and forming an opening for putting in and out baggage to the storing part on the sides of the backrest part. SOLUTION: In this chair comprising leg parts 1, a seat part 2 and a backrest part 3, the backrest part 3 is formed so that a part 3a of the front side is formed to draw a gentle arc, and a part 3b of the back side is formed vertically. The space between the front side part 3a and the back side part 3b of the backrest part 3 is partitioned as a storing part 32 capable of storing baggage 4, and the baggage 4 such as a hand-bag or the like is stored in the storing part 32. Both side surfaces of the storing part 32 are formed as opening parts to put in and out the baggage 4 through the opening parts. Further, a gap may be formed in the backrest part 3 or the backrest part 3 may be formed by a transparent or semi-transparent member, whereby the baggage 4 stored in the storing part 32 can be recognized.
