PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taro separatory apparatus having high ability to separate taros with reduced damage thereof. SOLUTION: This separatory apparatus has such a constitution that the main frame 9 is disposed with both lower conveyor 1 and upper conveyor 2 as a pair of caterpillars as a turning conveyance belt to put taroes thereon and respective driving motors 5 and 6 for turning the conveyors 1 and 2 are mounted on a motor frame 10 collocated with the main frame 9, and a plurality of separatory teeth 7 are furnished at given intervals on the outer periphery of both the lower conveyor 1 and upper conveyor 2 so as to be mutually engaged when situated on the underside of the upper conveyor 2 and the upper side of the lower conveyor 1, and both the conveyors 1 and 2 are turned inwardly in respective speeds differing from each other.
