PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject strap capable of mitigating the burden on the waist of fisherman's body, affording favorable state of fishing rod holding, and also capable of quickly and surely adjusting the angle of a supported fishing rod. SOLUTION: This strap is such one as to be used for setting a fishing rod receiver 24 for holding the lower end of a fishing rod 25 on a fisherman's body; wherein a waist pad 3 to be abutted on the waist 22 and a hip pad 5 to be abutted on the hip 23 are suspended by a shoulder strap 2, on the respective both end sides of the waist pad 3 and the hip pad 5, continuous forms 7 with controllable length are extended, and the continuous form 7 on each one side of the waist pad 3 and the hip pad 5 is mounted with a detachable hooking tackle 11 midway of the fishing rod 25, while the continuous form 7 on each the other side is similarly mounted with a 2nd detachable hooking tackle 11 midway of the fishing rod 25.
