PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a coating film formed of a plurality of laminates of resin-containing film applied on a base, from which a residual solvent can be removed by a quick and simple process, and provide a heat- sensitive recording medium, by removing quickly the amount of the residual solvent in the heat-sensitive recording medium to the level of allowable amount so as to provide the stable coloring density. SOLUTION: In a method for forming a coating film comprising a laminate of a plurality of films containing a resin, one of the two coating fluids used for forming two optional adjacent films A and B out of a plurality films contains at least a solvent X and the resin A (quoted as a coating fluid A), while the other is a coating fluid (quoted as a coating fluid B) having molar molecular volume smaller than that of the solvent X, and containing a solvent Y melting the resin A, and after the film A is formed by using the coating fluid A, the film B is formed by using the coating fluid B, and also a manufacturing method of the heat-sensitive recording medium using the above method is provided. |
